Getting it right matters to us. If we've published something inaccurate, or a website report looks wrong, tell us – here's how we fix errors, handle complaints, and keep our work accountable.
TechJox aims to be accurate, fair and up to date. Our articles are checked before publication, and our website scores follow a documented methodology. Even so, mistakes happen and data changes. When they do, we want to hear about it and put it right quickly.
We'll review any of the following:
We distinguish a correction (a factual error we fix) from a clarification (adding context without an error), and from a re-scan request (asking us to re-evaluate a website with fresh data).
| Type | Typical response |
|---|---|
| Acknowledgement | Within 2 business days |
| Clear factual error | Corrected as soon as verified, often same day |
| Website re-scan | Reviewed within 5 business days |
| Complex or disputed cases | Investigated; updates as we progress |
Transparency is part of trust. When we correct a published article in a way that changes its meaning, we add a dated note explaining what changed. We don't quietly rewrite the record. For website reports, an updated score simply reflects the latest data; you can request a re-scan at any time.
If your concern is about how we behaved – bias, unfair treatment, a breach of our editorial standards, or how your data was handled – you can raise a formal complaint. Email [email protected] with the details. We'll acknowledge it, investigate impartially, and give you a written outcome. If you're not satisfied, you can ask for it to be escalated to a senior editor.
If we report on an individual or organisation and the piece is critical, we aim to offer a fair opportunity to respond before or shortly after publication. If you were the subject of a story and want to add your side, contact [email protected].
Tell us what's wrong and we'll investigate. The more specific you are, the faster we can act.
